Gabby Douglas’ recent series of Instagram stories largely featured glimpses into her sessions at conditioning exercises. However, she was not alone while performing it. WOGA’s National Championship competitor, Marguerite Mccrea joined her for the same. Captioning the Instagram post with, “I killed her at conditioning,” they definitely shared a post-intensive workout glow.

Gymnastic conditioning exercises are aimed at enabling athletes to develop strength, flexibility, and mobility. It allows them to strengthen the core, leg, and arm muscles for improved balance and stability. With better control, it significantly improves their body composition during a gymnastics routine. Moreover, developing core strength is crucial for gymnasts to perform on different sets of apparatuses.

The story also featured the duo in a plank position, which is an important part of conditioning exercises. It helps gymnasts improve vascularity and build their posture. Douglas is back for the love of gymnastics, while thoroughly enjoying the training sessions.
