Standing right back up after the Paris Olympics jolt, Jordan Chiles is now aiming to go out firing on all cylinders, in terms of monetizing her NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness). Coming Live on Instagram on September 9, Jordan Chiles’ answer to the question, ” looking forward to break NIL record?” was a crystal-clear indication of the plans she is harboring in her mind. To this end, she backed her initial laugh with a strong, “I am always ready to do as many deals possiblestatement.

Well, why not? The UCLA star is fresh off a team gold medal from her second Olympic stint. At the top of her game, she sure believes in striking while the iron is hot. While Olivia Dunne, the only gymnast in the top 10 rank, currently enjoys an estimated net worth of $3.9M and a 5.3M following on Instagram, Chiles is still far away from this mark. But reaching there will hardly require a major shift from her end. For Chiles, has always been maximizing her NIL opportunities by putting deals down on paper.

Landing even one lucrative deal can be a game-changer for celebrities, but Chiles has several under her belt. Some of the recent brands featured on her feed include Milani Cosmetics, Too Good & Co., Bliss, Invisalign, Bubbl’r, Purple, Playtex, and Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes. And the list doesn’t stop there.

In 2022, Jordan Chiles’ active participation on the NIL front earned the title of ‘Breakthrough Athlete of the Year’ at UCLA Gymnastics. And judging by how things have been going so far, she looks in great form to surpass that mark this time around. In fact, her recent NIL milestone came just before the 2024 Paris Olympics when the UCLA gymnast launched her own NIL apparel collection. Teaming up with Campus Ink’s NIL store, various designs and patterns of t-shirts from the “Team Chiles” collection went live on the site.

With this, Jordan Chiles became eligible to earn from the merchandise payouts on each piece. This turned out a rather favorable attempt. As Campus Ink’s Director of Marketing & Communications, Sean Ellenby hailed her standing among the fans, “The reception from Jordan’s community has been incredible and it is truly one of our favorite activations to date.” Given these, do you think she can come close to replacing top NIL student-athletes on the charts?
