Can Jordan Chiles turn her Olympic heartbreak into a triumphant comeback at UCLA this season?

Well, it seems that the time has come for Jordan Chiles to shed the bag of sorrows following her Olympic bronze medal heartbreak. The official winner of the accolade has now been declared to be Ana Barbosu of Romania. Dealing with the shock and heartbreak, Chiles went into a hiatus, cutting off her social media for a significant amount of time.

However, as time passed, the young gymnast seemed to be getting over the grief while concentrating on her future endeavors. Currently traveling throughout America for the Gold Over America Tour, Chiles has her plans sorted. Following her triumphant return from the French capital, Chiles declared that she would be returning this year to compete for UCLA.

Keeping up to her promise, Chiles recently took to her Instagram story and shared the full schedule for her NCAA outing for the upcoming season. She captioned the post penning, “Y’all ain’t ready!!!” As per the update, Chiles will kickstart proceedings with a ‘Meet the Bruins’ interactive event on December 14, 2024, at the Pauley Pavilion. Things will then move to Oklahoma City, as the Bruins will be featured on the Sprouts Collegiate Quad. She was the leading scorer in the 2022 season with a whopping 432.775 points to her name. During her time with the UCLA Bruins, Chiles notched up as many as three perfect 10s. While two of them came in her favorite category—floors, Chiles also dazzled on the uneven bars.

Owing to her impeccable collegiate performance, the Olympian stood out in the PAC-12, earning the All-American honors on the floor. And now, with the upcoming season seeing an even more mature Jordan Chiles strengthening the Bruins’ setup, UCLA will surely look to snatch the championship. But there’s a lot more caviar waiting for the Olympic champion other than winning the NCAA title.
