Simone Biles makes it clear

Twitter is a fun place; with the same name and title, the users often tag the wrong person. When ex-president Donald Trump tagged the wrong Megan, what followed was a meme fest. But for Simone, the case is not of a “mistaken identity.”

A user mistook Denver Broncos player Javonte Williams for Simone’s fiance. Expressing his excitement on Twitter, the user wrote, “Hold up! @Simone_Biles is the fiancé of @javontewill33? WHAAAAAAAT?!?!

To clear the confusion, the gymnastic GOAT herself intervened, retweeting Simone wrote “no…… it’s @jjowens_3 from the Texans ❤️😘🤎🤞🏾 haha.”

For the unversed, Jonathan Owens is American football safety for the Houston Texans of the NFL. While Javonte Williams plays for the Denver Broncos.

Simone fans had a hearty laugh seeing the mistake. As the Olympic gold medalist cleared all the confusion, the fans joined in to have some fun. Seeing Simone correcting the user, one of her fans wrote, “Get ’em straight, Simone!”

With the ongoing NFL season, a fan got a little competitive. The user reacted, “Jonathan is tapping that s*** hard.”

While one user could hardly control the laughter and dropped a couple of laughing emojis, the other approved Jonathan as her choice and wrote, “we love that for you.”

This NFL season is going well for Owens; seeing him play on the field has been a delight for the fan. On Simone’s behalf, one of her fans took the liberty to introduce Jonathan by saying, “he’s a baaaaaad man on that field!”
