Yet, 20-year-old Olivia Dunne successfully managed to accomplish this incredible feat. Getting featured in the same prestigious magazine as Biles and Williams, Dunne amazed thousands of fans.
Featuring in the Sports Illustrated magazine’s May 2023 issue, the 20-year-old was thrilled. Posing in a photo shoot for this magazine in outdoor settings, Dunne confidently displayed her personality. Later, talking about the photo shoot, the gymnastics athlete disclosed why she wished to feature in this magazine. But what did Dunne promote through this photo shoot?

Wearing swimsuits from SI Swimsuit’s collection like Simone Biles and Serena Williams, Dunne looked adorable. Dressed in a gorgeous grey swimsuit, Dunne made victory signs with both her hands with her hair open and eyes closed. In another picture, she posed against a background of water, looking sideways while keeping one hand near her chest.
SI Swimsuit shared these pictures of Dunne from the shoot on their Instagram handle. The post was captioned, “Because we knew you were wishing for more sneak peeks.”

Afterward, Dunne explained why she collaborated with SI Swimsuit. “The way that the brand has evolved and has become such a positive spotlight for women to tell their stories and to spread awesome messages of being strong, s*xy and beautiful, I knew that was something I wanted to be part of.”

Continuing, Dunne spoke about how the brand gave her comfort and confidence, later adding, “I felt like a better person leaving that shoot.” The popular influencer clearly loves to share her perspective openly and had earlier opened up about her personal life.

The young gymnast has to maintain a fine balance between her school, gymnastics, and social media which is no cakewalk. Dunne elaborated on her formula for this Herculean challenge. “In terms of balancing school, social media and gymnastics, I take it one thing at a time.” Further, she told her fixed routine- going to school, training for gymnastics, and only then, using social media.
Hinting at how she considered herself a student before being an athlete, Dunne also expressed her desire to work for women’s equality in gymnastics. Not only this, she also wished to contribute to women’s equality in all sports.
