“It Is a Paperwork Nightmare”: Simone Biles Fans Show Concern About Her Gymnastics Future After Marriage to Jonathan Owens in 2023

Since Simone Biles announced that she is engaged to NFL star player Jonathan Owens, the fans have been on cloud nine. After dating for more than two years, the two athletes decided to make things official. As Jonathan went down on his knees to ask Simone the most important question, the answer came quickly. The 2022 Valentine’s eve became more special for the fans as the special news was shared.

As the days pass, the dates for the ‘Big Day’ get more close. Though the official dates for the wedding remain unknown, Simone is expected to get hitched before the 2023 NFL season. Thus, as the bachelorette days for Simone are numbered, fans can not help but raise concern for a very valid reason.

As Simone is busy preparing for her wedding, fans wonder whether Simone will change her name to Mrs. Owens. Though Simone has repeatedly referred to herself as the “future Mrs. Owens,” but whether she will make the changes official remains the big question.

Drawing attention to this, a Twitter user wrote, “If Simone makes a comeback for Paris, I wonder if she will identify as Simone Biles or Simone Owens?” Like Simone’s wedding date, whether or not she will participate in the Paris Olympics remains a mystery. 

Though Simone has revealed that she will be part of the event, however, she is yet to confirm her participation as a participant. Keeping in mind the recent chain of events and a possible shift of things, one for her fans makes a valid point. The fan writes that if Simone decides to make changes on paper, then “it is a paperwork nightmare that follows you your whole life.”

However, considering Simone keeps posting stuff on her social media handles like Instagram, where she addresses her as the “future Owens,” the possibility for her making the changes official remains very high.

However, there’s a lot more waiting before such anticipations are put to rest. The fans must wait for more days before seeing their favorite walk down the aisle.
