Simone Biles, who is probably the world’s greatest gymnast, is enjoying the best phase of her life. The bride-to-be is engaged to NFL player Jonathan Owens. They will soon tie the knot next year. Apart from Simone’s beautiful love story, she also had an innocent fling in seventh grade. In her autobiography, Courage to Soar, the gymnast shared many phases of her life. One of them is a small anecdote when she almost involved herself in a relationship with a boy in her class.

Initially, she dated a gymnast-turned-WWE superstar, Stacey Ervin Jr. Notably, the ex-couple dated from 2017 to 2020. And three years after three years of dating, the ace gymnast made headlines for her relationship with Jonathan Owens during the pandemic year.

Apart from her mature romances, Biles was also involved in a one-day relationship in seventh grade. Biles had a fling with a boy in her class named Dillon.

Her classmates teased her and the boy, making Simone feel overwhelmed. One fine day, Dillon proposed to Simone in a note asking her to ‘Be my girlfriend‘. The note flustered Biles, and she said a yes to the boy. However, when she went back home, Biles could evaluate her feelings. She explained the same in her book;

“When I got to school the next morning, I did not knew how to act. So many questions swirled in my head. Is Dillon really my boyfriend now? What does that mean? Should I go by his locker before class? What do kids do when they’re dating? I didn’t have the first clue, and I didn’t want to seem stupid, so when I saw Dillon in social studies later that day, I called the whole thing off. ‘So, umm Dillon we are not dating, I said trying to act all casual.”

The boy shrugged at Simone’s behavior. Simone called the incident in her autobiography the ‘greatest adventure’ in the seventh grade.

Simone’s first relationship was with WWE superstar Stacey Ervin Jr. After three years, they broke up but never revealed the reason behind their split up.

However, during an interview with Vogue in 2020, Simone had a few things to say about her first relationship. She said:

She also added;
