With the Gold Over America Tour now in its second season, this year has seen a rapid surge in popularity, largely due to Biles. After her captivating performances in the French capital, fans back in America are eager to see the gymnastics legend live. The growing popularity of the tour has also caught the attention of notable figures like Alexis Ohanian and Kathy Johnson Clarke.

Taking to their X accounts, both Clarke and Ohanian expressed their amazement at the grandeur of the same. Ohanian, who recently had significant success with his all-women track and field event, Athlos, wrote, “Packed house for @Simone_Biles and the crew.” Adding in to the excitement, sports broadcaster and former gymnast, Kathy Johnson Clarke seemed elated to watch Biles and co. in action. The show is FABULOUS, the gymnasts are STELLAR, and the arena energy is MAGICAL! It surely launched thousands of dreams!” 

In fact, Clarke was one of the few lucky individuals who recently participated in the Tour. The ex-gymnast was honored at the Gold Over America Tour when she walked up to the stage and performed a cartwheel effortlessly, making the crowd go wild. With the tour enjoying impeccable success, Biles and her team will next stop in Duluth, Georgia. As an added bonus, Biles will have her coach, Cecile Landi, in attendance. Excited to finish off the remaining events in style, Simone Biles also revealed the reason behind the Gold Over America Tour’s success.

However, there’s more to it as per Simone Biles. Speaking to KCTV5 recently, the gymnastic GOAT mentioned, “We all deserve it because every time we compete, we’re always thinking about; What’s next? What’s next?…” Biles mentioned that it was this energy and zeal to keep going that made the Gold Over America Tour grand. 

The Olympic gold medalist further expressed her desire to connect with the crowd more. Now, the audience has already known the gymnast Simone Biles. But the sneak peek and the snippets she is sharing is making the overall experience for the crowd to know Biles as a person feels more enriching. Add to that the possibility of Biles retiring before the Los Angeles Olympics. Thus, all in all, the Simone Biles effect seems to have taken over America and they are surely loving it.
