Alexandra Rose Raisman or better known as Aly Raisman, the professional American Gymnast has achieved almost everything that she dreamed of in her career. Behind Shannon Miller and Simone Biles, Aly is the third most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history. The two-time Olympian, Raisman retired from official gymnastics on January 14, 2020. Recently, Raisman was interviewed by Messenger, where she spoke about her post-retirement life.
Raisman has secured an incredible record as eight-time US National Champion Medalist and also three-time World Champion. She retired from Gymnast with everything she wanted, including the Olympics and success. And now Aly Raisman asserted that she has no regrets about retiring from official Gymnasts and she is grateful for what she had.

Aly Raisman spoke with The Messenger about why she has no regrets about retiring from official gymnastics. She says, ?I feel really grateful for my gymnastics career and I feel really excited for the next chapter in my life, I feel really happy that I feel like I did everything that I wanted to do in gymnastics?. She hinted at how she was able to achieve everything that she
ever wanted in Gymnastics. Raisman stated that she can look back on her career and have no regrets at all for leaving it.
Raisman also implied about her hard work and strict training during her gymnastic days and how she had to push herself for training ??I think when I was a gymnast, I just had to push myself so much that I don?t miss the intensity of training?. Raisman has made many hardships to make her name established in her career in gymnastics. Today Raisman focuses on advocating better mental health access for athletes since she herself has endured OCD.

Aly Raisman shared her details about OCD
In 2020, Raisman and Dax Shepherd appeared in the Armchair Expert Podcast, where the athlete her prolonged ill mental health. Courageously she opened up about her enduring OCD publicly, she said ?I think it?s more common than we realize?. The Obsessive Compulsive Disorder causes excessive thoughts that lead to repetitive behavior. ?I struggle with it too, it makes me feel like I?m less alone too. People don?t talk about it a lot in public.?
