Dressed in a red jacket and white pants, she opened up about the sport she loves. “I don’t know, I thought I was going to be really emotional coming out,” she confessed. “As soon as I did that first full out on bars, everybody was screaming so loud, and I was like, ‘I’m twisting again.’ So to just have that support means the world.” She stated how she had made a complete 180-degree turn since the Olympics in 2021.

Thrilled to be competing again, she also gave credit stating she was fueled by the steady backing of her coach, parents, agent, and medical team. She also mentioned how returning to the grind felt like a breath of fresh air, which is a testament to her dedication as well as hard work. All about the Twisties’ fear she had

Biles lost track of her?position midair during the 2021 Olympics. This phenomenon is known as “Twisties”. Sometimes gymnasts lose their sense of direction during a skill, causing them to become disoriented mid-air and making it challenging to complete the twist or safely land the maneuver. Simone Biles brought significant attention to the twisties during the Tokyo Olympics when she withdrew from several events, prioritizing her mental well-being and safety.

The mental block was a stark reminder of the intense pressure gymnasts face. Despite this lingering fear, Biles affirmed her trust in her training and her body after her performance at the 2023 Classic. Speaking about her performance, she admitted, “I still get a little bit nervous, but I think it’s just subconscious. Other than that, I know my body is capable, prepared, and all of that stuff. So, I just have to trust my training.”
