The Biles sisters, frequently mistaken as twins, have had each other’s backs since their foster home days. Long before Nellie and Ron Biles decided to adopt the four siblings, Simone took it upon herself to care for the youngest, Adria. The little toddler in Simone was just 3 when she used to boss around, and Adria let her. But it also meant Simone never lost her sight away from her sister. When they ultimately found their forever home in Spring, Texas, Simone would often curl up in Adria’s crib for warmth and comfort.

“I just felt like I needed to look out for her because if family doesn’t look out for you, who’s going to?” Simone once recalled while talking about Adria. Adria and Simone were inseparable, and Adria would often mimic her sister’s inventive antics, even if it meant risking breaking a bone or two, had it been that she landed awkwardly after jumping off the rail from the second floor to a couch on the floor, all thanks to Biles. Used to being the center of attention, Adria felt mildly threatened when things started to change as Jonathan Owens entered the picture as the third wheel,

“Like I knew he was a good guy, and I knew they were great, but I was like, ‘You’re taking my time away from her’. Like I felt so annoyed and so like to be honest, me and him didn’t get along. I was just like being a brat.”

Now, imagine Simone Biles having kids. Adria can’t imagine having to compete with them! In her conversation with Chris Osmond on YouTube, she stated, “She was being married, and it was really hard for me, and now she’s like, ‘I want to have babies’.

“And I’m like, ‘Oh now I’m gonna have to compete with somebody else’. I’m like ‘Please just hold off on having babies.’ [laughing]”

Adria also brought up Ronnie, their niece. Grinning at how Baby Biles is the center of all the attention in their household, Adria informed that she sometimes feels she’s losing ground to their newest family member. “My brother just had a baby. She’s 20 months. And I was the youngest, and I was the cutest and now there’s a baby,” Simone’s sibling narrated the friendly competition with her older brother Ron’s daughter. But Adria takes comfort in the fact that family gatherings are a weekly affair and that they are all just 5 minutes away from each other, “so we can just kind of all show up whenever and pop in and say, ‘Hi.'”

Well, there’s another way of looking at this whole situation. Adria will have a bigger squad on her side to cheer for Simone Biles and carry forward her greatness.

Ever since little Ronnie started getting the hang of the world, she made it clear that supporting her beloved TT was something she loved to do. Ron and Sammi Biles make sure to take their daughter to as many of Simone’s meets as possible where the little one can be spotted soaking up the electric atmosphere. Moreover, the youngling also seems like a natural in gymnastics, like her aunt and her mother thinks she could follow in Simone’s footsteps before too long.

Quite possibly, gymnastics runs deep in the blood of the Biles family members and Simone’s legacy could be transferred to Baby Biles.

At the 2023 US Classic too, the little one was enthralled by the amount of love for Simone. And since then, she has become a regular customer in the stands, along with the rest of the family and Jonathan Owens.

Accompanied by her family members, little Ronnie also made the long trip to the other side of the pond to cheer for the gymnast at the 2024 Paris Games and was obviously elated by how Simone dished out stellar performances to bag three gold and one silver at the quadrennial event.
