“Hand on Her Sweet Little Face”: Pregnant US Olympian Shares First Glimpse of Her Unborn Child

After a grand gender reveal celebration last week, Olympic gymnast MyKyla Skinner cannot keep calm as she nears her delivery date. Moreover, the mother-to-be is regularly visiting doctors for her routine checkups. Recently, when she went for one of the sessions, Skinner shared an exciting detail about her 21-week-old baby girl. 

A few hours ago, Skinner took to her Instagram to share the first image of her unborn child. Moreover, ever since Skinner disclosed her pregnancy on March 24, she has faced a series of new experiences. One of them was spotted in her latest Instagram story. 

Mykyla Skinner shares her baby girl’s profile for the first time

In her latest Instagram stories, Mykyla Skinner shared sonographic images of her 21-week-old baby girl. It was a black and greyish image of her unborn child. Sharing the pictures, Skinner captioned in one of her stories, “Hands on her sweet little face.” She expressed her excitement to see her baby for the first time before giving birth to her.

For every mother, sonographic images of the baby are important to check his/ her health and to identify complications. 

In March, when Skinner disclosed her pregnancy, she also shared with her fans the new experiences she was undergoing as a mother-in-the-making. During her interaction with her fans, the Olympic gymnast revealed that she has lost 11 pounds and received a few medical doses. 

Furthermore, she added that she began feeling sick in the sixth week of her pregnancy. She threw up incessantly and faced significant weight loss. However, later on, during the interaction, MyKyla confirmed that her health has improved and that she has kept well.

As MyKyla is entering a new chapter of her life, she has recognized the love and effort mothers put into their children’s well-being. Hence, on Mother’s Day, she made the most of the occasion to thank her mother. 

MyKyla Skinner penned down a heartfelt note for her mother

On Mother’s Day, Kyle Skinner took to her Instagram story sharing two pictures of herself with her mother. In both the pictures, she was seen adoringly holding her mother. Moreover, she also added a lovely note on the occasion. 

The gymnast wrote in her Instagram story, “Can’t wait to be a mom!”. As Kyle has begun her motherhood journey through her pregnancy, she cannot wait to love her child just like her mother did.

She also expressed her gratitude for her mother and further wrote, “Thanks for teaching me how to love and chase your dreams! I love you”. Skinner could not be any more thankful for her support which helped her shine in her career and life.

Indeed, it’s a special chapter in the gymnast’s life. Skinner’s delivery date is in September 2023. Till then, she will keep sharing tiny little details about her unborn child expressing her excitement.
