Asher Hong lately put up an uproarious video on his social media, captioned, “Things my coach does, I hate’.

Depicting the hilarious silent conversations that usually take place between a gymnast and his coach during practices, Asher Hong shared two varying scenarios – While Asher Hong acted like a practicing gymnast, Ian Gunther, a fellow gymnast and 4x NCAA team champion, held a coach’s character. Sensing that almost every gymnast faces a similar scenario at least once in their lifetime, he leaves it to the viewers to decide which of the two scenarios shared, is the worst one.

Asher Hong shared a funny and sarcastic post on gymnastic coaching lately on Instagram. Unveiling the coaching critique with a unique twist, the video hauled up amusing the social media audience. In the first scenario, Asher Hong asked his (assumed) coach, Ian Gunther, what he should be doing for today’s practice session. To this, the coach responded by saying 3 ‘diamadovs’. After the gymnast happily does exactly what his coach had told him to do, tGunther, unfortunately, exclaims that because he did not do 5 diamadovs, the gymnast ought to repeat them. Hysterically presenting the awkwardness of the difference in numbers, it showed what a gymnast goes through.

Scenario 2 expressed how enthusiastically a gymnast swings on the bars, yet the coach is not attentive to glimpse the ‘wow’ moment. Beautifully showcased by the funny content creators this time, Asher Hong and Ian Gunther made the Instagram audience laugh hard. Along with the usual mischiefs, the bronze medalist gymnast, Asher Hong, has dedicated most of his time, to enriching the sport. Making gradual learnings and subsequent wins in his course duration, the All-Around title holder has his eyes on the upcoming World Championships.

Swinging to the Paris Olympics 2024

The bronze medalist gymnast at the 2023 World Championship, Asher Hong, aims to be fresh this year. The 19-year-old sophomore at Stanford, in the previous year, dedicated himself to his first-ever national championship. Delivering a full twist double, Tsukahara and a massive 15.455 score on the vault early in the game, he had made a striking start.

Asher Hong is declared to be the first teenager to win the US Men’s Gymnastics Championship since John Orozco in 2012. Laddering to the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships to reach his final destination of the 2024 Paris Olympics, he grabbed the team quota for the big night in the French capital.
