As the year-end announces its arrival, the duo awaits to count their blessings throughout. However, amidst all of it, some moments seemed to shine brighter than the rest for the 7-time Olympic medalist.

In a recent update, Simone Biles took to Instagram to share a precious moment of the year with the netizens online. Though tons of memories lined up for the followers, there was only one that could stand out for Simone. And surprisingly not, gymnastics moments did not make the top pick.

On her Instagram stories, Biles recently posted a tag that read, “Best moment of 2023.” In response, Simone shared an image that surpassed the most glorious of times on mats. Simone, in one of her 4 wedding dresses with a quirky face and Owens in a white suit, shot glass in hand, mimicking Biles’ expression, framed the post for the Olympian. The joy on the two’s faces and the celebrations in the background with warm lighting showcased that love wins over it all.

Having met in 2020 through a dating app, there was nothing ordinary about the duo’s relationship graph. Be it juggling long distances, Simone flying cities to cheer, or Owens sending surprises for Biles every occasion, they’ve laid siege on all grounds of love. The power couple has been nothing short of goals. And to celebrate the treasured through a knot, the wedding equaled their relationship stance.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens officiated their marriage twice this year. Once in April in a civil ceremony, then in Mexico, a month later in a fairy tale wedding. The couple chose Cabo for their destination wedding on the seaside in the presence of 144 guests. “The planning process was so much fun in the beginning and then it started getting really stressful,” Biles revealed and further added that her wedding planner kept her sane.

But when she walked down the aisle, in one of her carefully chosen gowns, it was worth it, revealed the Olympic gymnast. “Seeing Jonathan at the altar was a dream. I fell in love with him all over.” Adding on to the dreaminess, as their ceremony started, the whales were jumping out of the water, reports Vogue. And Simone Biles calls it ‘the most magical’, a term befitting of their bond.
