Olympics medalist and world champion Jordan Chiles was back with the UCLA gymnastics team for the 2023 season. The event was a success for Chiles who won the bars and floors exercise. Following the event, the official Instagram handle of the UCLA gymnastics team shared a video of the gymnast in action. Effortlessly carrying out her routine, the 21-year-old left the audience stunned with the near-perfect double-layout landing.

On 30th January 2023, UCLA shared a clip of Jordan Chiles performing the double layout and finishing it in style, followed by a comical hand gesture to wipe the imaginary sweat off her forehead. The clip was a part of her 90s-themed routine. In less than 48 hours, the clip has accumulated nearly 48000 likes on Instagram, along with hundreds of comments. Chiles’ jaw-dropping performance left the audience mesmerized not only in the arena but on the internet as well.

UCLA gymnastics shared the clip with the caption, “There?s a stick, and then there?s THIS from Olympic medalist @jordanchiles, who stuck her double layout like it was nothing. ?” Soon after the video was uploaded, fans made their way to the comments section to praise the young gymnast. Many pointed out how the audience in the arena was surprised by the performance. One such observer commented, “Not the guys jaw dropping in the background!!”

Another one added, “Laughing at them peeps in the front row (beardman and lady in the blue) their faces ???” Commenting on the gymnast’s stance one fan wrote, “Her body language said, ‘And that how it?s done.’ ???”

Those who were fortunate enough to witness the event live from the stadium didn’t hold back from sharing their experience. One such lucky fan wrote, “Amazing ??? saw this in person & she slayed ?” A fifth fan added, “Absolutely incredible performance and I got to see it LIVE ?? you are an inspiration. Makes me wanna try even harder thank you ???”
