September marks the highly anticipated return of the Gold Over America Tour (G.O.A.T.) after a three-year hiatus, with Simone Biles leading the charge. The event aims to shine a spotlight on emerging talents from across the USA, and the country’s most decorated gymnast of all time is eagerly looking forward to it.
The second edition of the upcoming tournament promises to be an even bigger affair than the last. While the 7-time Olympic gold medalist continues to tease spectacular moves for the tournament, Biles also can’t stop talking about what keeps her falling in love with the tournament.

In an Instagram post by the official Gold Over America Tour account from September 8, the Texas native can be heard revealing the aspect of the Athleta event that appeals to her the most. “Get ready to go down memory lane with me,” says Biles in the accompanying video. Sharing a clip from the inaugural edition of the tournament, where the young gymnasts can be seen having a blast to music, Simone confesses, “This is my favorite part from every single show.”

By now, we all know that Biles loves herself at a party that involves dancing. “A lot of what we do is for the kids,” notes the Olympic celebrity as the video shows Biles also dishing out a few groovy moves along with her young comrades. “We love entertaining, we love their support, so to share the stage with them is just so special,” said the 27-year-old further, underscoring that their interaction was a joyous experience for all of them. With that, Biles also mentioned that the whole event was like an “ode” to the younglings as a gesture to thank them for their continued display of enthusiasm over the years.

“I love their little custom outfits, it was so cute,” grins Biles as the video showed the kids flaunting their best gymnastics attires. A wholesome moment, indeed! Now, as the 2024 GOAT arrives on September 16 at the Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, it won’t be just the kids who will have a lot to be excited about.

The Gold Over America Tour will see a stacked roster waiting to aid more spring gymnasts find their calling in the sport. Alongside Simone Biles, 2024 Olympic gold medalists Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera will be part of the electrifying showcase. And, of course, no gymnastics celebration would be complete without Biles’ best friend, Jordan Chiles. Still recovering from her own challenges in Paris, this tour could be the perfect opportunity for the UCLA star to leave the past behind. Spanning 32 cities across the USA, the tour will also feature Simone’s male teammates from the national team, including Brody Malone, Olympic medalist and three-time individual NCAA champion Paul Juda, and multi-NCAA gold medalist Yul Moldauer, all set to deliver thrilling performances for gymnastics enthusiasts.

However, the most anticipated among these stars will undoubtedly be Trinity Thomas. Bidding goodbye to elite gymnastics in 2019, Thomas has restricted her operations within the NCAA circuit and as a representative of the Florida Gators. Naturally, watching Thomas at the 2024 Winter Cup was a pleasant surprise for many, and they can’t wait to see what the 23-year-old brings to the table for Gold Over America.
