After a glorious gymnastics career, Shawn Johnson is rocking the gruelling albeit rewarding battle of motherhood now. The 2008 Olympic Champion, who is married to ex-NFL star Andrew East, has now welcomed her third child, and fans can’t seem to get enough of the newborn baby’s cuteness.

While Johnson’s 2-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter are growing fast, she recently welcomed her third child. As she shared the joyous family pictures, she teased an interesting name for the 4-days-old baby, sparking an even bigger name-teasing among her fans. The baby, a spitting image of both mom and dad legit broke the internet.

Shawn Johnson East welcomes third baby

Shaw recently welcomed her third baby on the 12th of December and has now given a glimpse of her baby to the world. However, as he uploaded the pictures, announcing the arrival of the new member in the East family, she also sparked name speculation among fans with her caption. “’🐻’ 12•12•23”, the 31-year-old wrote.

While the gender of the 4-day-old baby is unknown yet, the fans not only began speculating about the gender, but ‘teddy’ themed names as well. “Wait, does that mean it’s a boy, and you named him teddy????? Or am I thinking too much into this”, wrote one of the fans with a username of ‘scottiebri_’ in the comments. Scottie’s speculation culminated in a plethora of guesses from the other fans.

Johnson sends fans into a baby-naming frenzy

Since Johnson put up a teddy emoticon in the comments, social media started speculating the baby to be a boy, even guessing ‘cute’ names as well. “I think your right it’s a baby boy, and they named Theodore and are gonna call him Teddy for short”, a user wrote under Scottie’s comment. However, the 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist could just have used the teddy emoticon to indicate happiness. “i know tons of people who nickname the brother ‘brother bear’ so she could mean it by that as well”, wrote one user.

The other user contradicted the widely trending boy speculations, saying, “I think maybe a girl named Teddy”. However, a few of the fans didn’t find any hidden meaning in the teddy emoji. “I’m guessing it just means baby bear”, a user wrote.

Either way, the baby’s arrival has sparked celebrations in the East family. “I was thinking boy, and they named him Bear!! Either way, congratulations on a beautiful baby”, one of the fans commented. While we await confirmation from the mother herself, it’s imminent that the baby has sparked a sense of profound joy in the family.
