Stephen Nedoroscik is no stranger to performing under pressure. Coming from his Paris Olympics wins, he’s by now pretty used to the crowds and cameras. But even Mr. Pommel Horse himself couldn’t hold his horses on the red carpet! Stephen made a stunning appearance at the 2024 Emmy Awards. And he wasn’t alone either! He walked the carpet alongside his girlfriend, Tess McCracken, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Stephen showed up wearing a sleek black tux, and Tess matched his energy with a stunning black velvet gown. The couple was all smiles and good vibes, but it turns out there was more going on behind the curtains! Olympic medalist Stephen Nedoroscik was having a serious freak-out moment. Luckily, Tess knew just how to handle it. “It was so cool, and I was so lucky Alana was there cause I was like, ‘Alana, I’m freaking out,’ and she was like, ‘All you have to do is walk.’ It was such an amazing experience,” said Stephen. Despite being an absolute pro at handling stress, the red carpet was an entirely different game for Stephen.

Stephen went on to add, “Oh my gosh! Me and Tess got to walk the red carpet. We did the fancy cam, the glam-bot. It was so cool. I was like, ‘What do I do?’ She (Tess) was like, ‘Take your glasses off.’” If that wasn’t enough, adding another dose of wholesome, Stephen went on to talk about how Tess couldn’t stop pointing out the celebs. “She loved it. She was like, ‘There’s that guy and her.’ Oh my god, it was so fun!

Adding another layer of excitement to Stephen’s night to remember, one of his favorite stars got some well-deserved recognition. “I was so happy to see Baby Reindeer get so many awards because I watched that a few months ago. And oh my god, what a story. At the end, I was like, I don’t know how to feel. I was so happy that they got recognition,” he added. But the Emmys aren’t the only highlight for Stephen this season!

Stephen Nedoroscik and his glamorous run on DWTS

Stephen Nedoroscik has been preparing to make his mark on Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) too! After winning two bronze medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Stephen decided to swap his pommel horse for the dance floor. And it is safe to say, he is not doing too badly! He has paired up with pro-dancer Rylee Arnold for the same. Their opening night performance had a fun twist! The whole performance featured a Rubik’s cube theme. The screen and the dance floor show images of the iconic puzzle. This was an evident reference to Stephen’s Rubik’s cube skills. A skill he showed off at The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where he solved the cube in 15.42 seconds! This brought in excitement before the performance even began.

Stephen then went on to deliver a jive to Adam Lambert’s rendition of “Don’t Stop Me Now.” The Stephen-Rylee duo went on to score 21 out of 30. Not bad for someone’s first attempt at dancing, right? Rylee Arnold, his partner, couldn’t stop gushing about Stephen. She went on to say, “I am so proud of what he did. He has never had to perform like this before, and he’s never danced, and he absolutely smashed it. Just being in the room with him, being able to dance with him is such an honor, truly. I have so much fun, so I’m just so glad he’s my partner.” Stephen may have been ‘freaked out’ on the red carpet, but with Rylee by his side, one thing is clear. Stephen is shining brighter than ever—both on and off the floor!
