Food Lover Simone Biles Stashed Pieces of Meat in Her Chair as a Child Until Mama Biles Caught Her: ?Look at All This Stuff Under Here!?

Star gymnast Simone Biles is one of the most decorated athletes in the country. Known as the GOAT, Biles has become a top-most gymnast all-around the world. She has won seven Olympic medals, of which four are gold. Presently, Biles is tied with Shannon Miller for the most Olympic medals by an American gymnast.

Off the field, Biles is known for openly discussing mental health issues and is active on various social media platforms. It is no secret that the star gymnast is a big foodie and often shares food posts on her social accounts. However, as a kid, Biles was not a meat lover and used to discard it without anyone noticing.

Young Simone Biles had found a way to avoid eating meat

In 2016,?Biles?and her parents had a candid conversation with the?Texas Monthly, where they talked about her childhood, growing up years, and her?gymnastics?journey.

During the chat, Biles’ mother, Nellie, pointed out that even as a kid, the gymnast was very stubborn and strong-headed. She used to never listen to anyone and was always very determined in her decisions. She said,??When she makes up her mind, it?s, like, oh my gosh?the whole world could be upset and she?d still do it.?My other kids would listen. Her, no. She makes her mind up and that?s it.?

Recalling one such incident, her mother revealed that a young Biles disliked eating meat and had also found a way to discard her food. Biles used to very secretively hide the cut pieces of meat in her food under her chair and efficiently avoided eating any of it. Biles’ meat hiding way went on for quite some time until her parents found her secret place.

Her mother recalled, ?We were cleaning the chair one time, and we were like, ?Look at all this stuff under here!?? However, as the gymnast grew up, she eventually started enjoying meat, and it’s also an essential part of her diet.

Biles and her family history

On 14th March 1997, Biles was born in Colombus, Ohio. However, her birth mother, Shanon Biles, was unable to take care of Biles and her four other siblings and left them in foster care.

In 2017, during an episode of Dancing with the Stars, Biles revealed that her biological mother suffered from drug and alcohol abuse. However, Biles’ maternal grandfather Ron and his second wife, Nellie, adopted Biles and her younger sister Adria. Both parents have been very supportive of Biles and her career choices.
