Amidst the Winter Cup competition, Simone Biles took to her Instagram stories to share a heartwarming update with her fans and express her love for the sport. She snapped her iPad, displaying her live stream of the event. In her caption, she wrote, “Winter Cup,” accompanied by fire and heart emojis. This update came after Biles even shared a heartfelt message of support for the women competing at the Winter Cup.
On February 24, amid the action unfolding at the Senior Women’s Competition in Louisville, Kentucky, Simone Biles took to X to share her awe for the contenders. She wrote, “The girls are not playing around this year” as she cheered the formidable icons. And while Simone basked in her tropical escapade miles away at the Winter Cup, the competition unfolded with sheer thrill.

How the Winter Cup Day 2 unfolded at the Senior Women’s Competition
The 2023 Pan American Games all-around champion, Kayla DiCello, emerged as the all-around champion with an overall score of 56.850. She also won the uneven bars and floor exercise. Following her with utmost skill, Skye Blakely, who was a member of the teams that won gold at the 2022 and 2023 World Championships, secured the silver medal with a score of 54.650. And third on the podium, the talented Hezly Rivera took bronze with a score of 54.000. The iconic Trinity Thomas also shone with potential and finished fourth.

Sunisa Lee, the Olympic champion, struggled during the competition, particularly on the uneven bars, her specialty.
