Stephen Nedoroscik at the Emmys—Is he the next big name in gymnastics like Simone Biles?

‘The Pommel Horse Specialist’ is now swinging his way to Hollywood fame, and the first stop? The 2024 Emmy Awards! After his standout performance on the Pommel Horse helped Team USA snag an Olympic medal for the first time in 15 years, Nedoroscik is ready to explore new territory. While his teammates dazzle on the Gold Over America Tour, Nedoroscik, inspired by Simone Biles’ early career moves, is set to hit the dance floor on the latest season of Dancing With The Stars.

And since the Olympian is now officially a part of the glamour world, it landed him on the prestigious red carpets of the Peacock Theater in LA. Donning a slick classic black tuxedo, Nedoroscik looked as stylish as ever. The 25-year-old “Clark Kent” of gymnastics also had his girlfriend, Tess McCracken accompany him to the Emmy Awards 2024.

And just like his breathtaking Olympic shenanigans, Nedoroscik was spot on with his style game in his debut Emmy appearance. Going gaga over the couple was Nedoroscik’s dancing partner, Rylee Arnold. She called the couple “perfect” while commenting under a snippet uploaded by the ‘Today Show’.

Well, when Nedoroscik announced his participation in the ‘Dancing With The Stars’, a lot of his fans were thrilled. But ‘The Pommel Horse Guy’ detailed his inspiration and intentions for joining the utterly popular dance show. Back at the Olympic village, Nedoroscik crossed paths with 7x Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles.

Admiring her courage to feature on the show back in 2017, made the 25-year-old marvel. Partnered with Sasha Farber, Biles failed to impress the judges as she took an early exit route. Yet, her venture remains a shining example of her ‘Never Say Never’ attitude. And this mentality is what made Stephen Nedoroscik adamant about facing his fears.

Nedoroscik confessed to his insecurities about dancing recently. However, rising above the fear, ‘The Pommel Horse Guy’ decided to push his boundaries and challenge his mental toughness. This time on the dance floor. Fortunately for the Olympian, he will not be alone. Nedoroscik will be ably guided by the veteran of the show, 19-year-old Rylee Arnold. Arnold has already won the ‘Dancing With The Stars Junior’ back in 2018, partnered with Miles Brown. She then came back in season 32 to team up with Harry Jowsey.

Unfortunately, things didn’t turn out to be too pleasant for them. Sparking heavy rumors of a brewing relationship with Arnold, Jowsey’s wife ended their marriage citing the on-screen chemistry as a major reason. While the relationship rumors actually fizzled out after the season ended, Arnold faced a lot of criticism.

Thus, the team-up with Nedoroscik is expected to act as a boon to clear up the mess Arnold is in. The 33rd season of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ will kick off on Tuesday, September 17 at 8 pm ET/PT. The duo will be debuting with Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’, which can be viewed live on Disney+ and ABC.
