Leanne Wong has stamped her mark on the gymnastics realm with her bright smiles, excellent moves, and her little colorful bows. In carrying on the personality, the 20-year-old manages a total of three roles behind the scenes: a student, a gymnast, and a little business owner. While the path may seem a lot to take in, Leanne knows just how to juggle her priorities as she sets on the road to Paris.

In December 2021, Leanne Wong joined the University of Florida as a pre-med major. And as she did, the 20-year-old was bound to assume the role of a student, working the elite grounds, to an eventual owner of Leanne Wong Bowtique. Today, after securing the historic NCAA Gym Slam title, Wong reveals what a typical day looks like in her life.

The University of Florida’s Gator Tales recently welcomed Leanne Wong on the podcast to discuss her life as a gymnast. From the mindset on NCAA gymnastics mats to the sight on the road to Paris, Wong spoke of the many aspects of her life. However, the integral part of all was her attitude in managing three roles at once and doing it perfectly. “I definitely take it day by day… I just have to be in the moment. So on a typical day, I am just really focused on practice and school,” Wong reveals.

For the gymnast, the school has always been the top priority. Taking up school first thing, Leanne Wong proceeds to be involved in the gymnastics practice. But as for her business, it has been on the side unless the other two aren’t the primary focus. “Of course, I have to prioritize school and gymnastics first… But I like to say that my bow business is like my free time, my downtime, something I just enjoy doing, Wong previously stated. Today, managing all of it, the 20-year-old is a worthy prospect on the road to Paris 2024.
