Simone Arianne Biles missed out on the Tokyo Olympics glory and is now leaving no stone unturned to script a perfect comeback. Three years ago, while Biles was performing mid-air, her world turned upside down. Suffering from ‘twisties’ Biles lost the ability to fathom where the floor was when she was in the air. Compelled to pull out of the big event, Biles was criticized heavily. Renowned journalists like Piers Morgan lashed out at Biles’ decisions and labeled them as “ridiculous”.

However, 2024 is a new dawn, and with that comes promise. And Simone Biles is all set to erase her nightmarish memories in Paris. And for that, Biles is not shying away from trying different things. She has signed up with a brand new choreographer, Gregory Milan, for the Olympics, who also lent his invaluable time to delve into some tidbits for an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports. Narrating his experience working with the US gymnastics queen, Milan was utterly excited.

Sitting down with an exclusive interview with Essentially Sports, Frenchman Gregory Milan poured his heart out while speaking about his latest endeavor. Previously, Milan had worked with several other gymnasts under Cecile Landi’s tutelage. However, trying to shape up a champion is something entirely new for Milan. Milan also mentioned that it was Melanie de Jesus dos Santos’ idea to bring in Milan to help Biles in her quest.

Reflecting on his stint, in the exclusive interview for EssentiallySports, Milan stated, “So for the first time, she wanted a change and she wanted me. So I came to the United States and then Cécile said, it would be interesting for you to do a choreography for Simone. And Simone saw me working and she agreed.” Milan also extended his heartfelt gratitude to both Cecile Landi and Simone Biles for trusting him with the huge responsibility.

Surely, such an initiative from Simone Biles is enough to understand how badly she wants things to be perfect. For the first time, Biles is trying to get out of her comfort zone and is trying to incorporate some unconventional tactics. And she seems to be enjoying Milan’s guidance as well. In a recently uploaded post, Biles praised Milan’s energy, stating, “Everyone needs a Greguito in their life!!!” And now, looking at Biles’ recent season so far, fans have every reason to be hyped about.
