Fred Richard
As per MyUSAGym, standing atop the grid since day 1, Michigan star Fred Richard maintained his lead in the finals as he rocketed ahead with a 170.500 score to clinch All-Around gold. Besides, the 20-year-old Michigan alumni also captained the High Bar ship, with a total of 28.85. Whereas his 29.85 and 28.7 were good enough for a silver and bronze spot in Parallel bars and floor, respectively. This win evinces his top-form this season, after he previously etched his name as the 2024 US all-around and high bar silver medalist, and floor champion.
Brody Malone
Following narrowly behind Richard was 24-year-old Brody Malone, the All-Around silver medalist, who did not run out of energy on day 2, demonstrated by his total of spectacular 170.300. Even after 2 days of competition, the Tennessee native’s 27.45 won him a High Bar bronze, whilst he totaled a 29.3 to clinch a Vault third. Moreover, with his family and his fiance cheering for him at the Target Center, he turned his former words into reality, “I’m not going to come here just to participate.”
Paul Juda
For 22-year-old Paul Juda, this qualification means he can now pack his bags for his big Paris Olympics debut. With a 168.850 total, he stood 4th all-around, but aced the Floor Exercise silver, thanks to his 28.85 score. Racking up another bronze from the event, his 28.3 positioned the Michigan star third in Pommel Horse.
Asher Hong
20-year-old Asher Hing was on fire in the arena, bedazzling everyone with his gravity-defying performances. While his 167.650 AA score made him a fierce contender, his performance on the Rings was an absolute visual treat. Putting up a 29.15 total on the charts, he grabbed gold in this event. Moreover, despite slipping onto the 4th spot in both Floor Exercise and Parallel Bars, the Stanford gymnast bagged a spot on the Olympics roster.
Stephen Nedoroscik
Finally, Team USA’s fifth spot was won by pommel horse stunner Stephen Nedoroscik. His participation remained limited to a single event, which was the Pommel Horse. However, the 29.3 was enough for him to seal his ticket to the Paris Olympics.
