Biles defeated her closest rivals by a considerable margin to win the first position at the 2023 U.S. Championships, with an outstanding overall score of 59.300. Her extraordinary execution ratings (a maximum of 9.800) and difficulty scores (ranging from 6.000 to 6.800) show her expertise and creative brilliance.

At the 2023 US Championships, Simone Biles displayed her stunning all-around powers with admirable routines and scores of 15.700 on the vault, 14.350 on bars, 14.450 on the beam, and 14.800 on the floor. Moreover, on the all-around table, she was way ahead of Shilese Jones, who stood in the second position with a score of 56.750. After Scott Bregman tweeted, “Simone’s Cheng looking better than last season, IMO,” the gymnastics world went crazy with responses. A fan recollected memories of Simone Biles’ best years and performances on X, writing, “So is it giving 2016 – 2021 Cheng again?” Another admirer questioned, wanting to know if Simone also performed her famous move questioning, “Did she also do the Biles?” Notably, Simone has five moves named after her till now: one on the balance beam, two on the floor exercise, and two on the vault.

The official practice for the U.S. Gymnastics Championships in Ft. Worth, Texas, included performances by Simone Biles, Shilese Jones, Suni Lee, and others who have their goals set for Paris 2024. The women’s tournament begins on Friday, and the champions will be announced on Sunday. These championships are the second of three major events that will determine the U.S. squad for Paris 2024. The U.S. trials in Minneapolis on June 30 will choose the final roster.

Simone’s Biles’ unique Cheng flip involves a round-off into the board, a half-turn onto the table, and a front layout with one-and-a-half twists off. Her mastery in the vault routine is already registered in the pages of gymnastic history. She got the first vault named at the 2018 Worlds after unveiling it for the first time at the USA Gymnastics 2018 World Team Selection Camp.
