Simone Biles became one of the notable faces of gymnastics at a very early stage of her life. For estimation, she is just 25 years old now, and she has been called the greatest for the past eight or nine years. However, this might not have been the situation she would be in if Nellie Biles and Ronald Biles didn’t adopt her. Simone got adopted when she was six years old with her sister.

In addition, Nellie and Ronald have been tremendous parents and loved all their kids with their whole hearts. Simone never gets tired of speaking about her family. She just loves each one of them. Recently in an interview, Simone confessed her love and gratitude to her parents. Moreover, she discussed why she has become the voice of anyone who she sees struggling.

The incident that changed the trajectory of Simone Biles’ life

Simone Biles wouldn’t have been the gymnastics legend if her parents didn’t adopt her. She got adopted from Foster care when she was just six years old. Moreover, the love, care, appreciation, and encouragement that her parents provided her with made her an enormous star.

Without parents or any adult’s guidance and support, it’s difficult for any child to become so successful. Simone said“The love and support I received from my parents who unselfishly adopted my sister and me when I was 6 years old changed the entire trajectory of my life.”

She added, “Today, I recognize just how important it is for children, particularly those who face a lot of hard things, to have a consistent, caring adult throughout their childhood.”

Biles’ journey of becoming the greatest

She is the most decorated US gymnast in history. She first rose to fame when she clinched two Gold medals, including the all-around title at World Championships, in 2013. Before her first Olympics, she had won eight world gold medals. As a result, she was considered the greatest even before competing in her first Olympics.

However, she had a down period in 2020 that led her to exit from the Tokyo Olympics in between. And later, she has been focusing on her mental health before getting back to the gymnastics arena.
