Stephen Nedoroscik is truly becoming a star in DWTS. Known for his antics on the gymnastics apparatus, ‘The Pommel Horse Guy’ surprised everyone when he decided to skip the Gold Over America Tour. Coming into the Olympics, Nedoroscik had a huge responsibility on his shoulders. The US men’s gymnastics team was deprived of an Olympic podium finish for 16 long years. Thus, the onus of breaking the curse rested upon the likes of Brody Malone, Stephen Nedoroscik, Paul Juda, and more.
And sure enough, Nedoroscik did not disappoint. At a time when Malone had some disappointing falls, Nedoroscik put up a scintillating display on the Pommel Horse to secure the bronze medal for his team. He also came back to clinch an individual medal in the Pommel Horse category to further strengthen his case as a champion gymnast. However, soon after his Paris triumph, Nedoroscik decided to embark on an adventurous journey.
Announcing his debut on the latest season of Dancing With The Stars, people were skeptical about Nedoroscik. Luckily for him, the champion athlete found an able partner in Riley Arnold. Bringing in enough experience, Arnold can be termed as a veteran of the DWTS. She initially participated in the junior version of the show before making an appearance in the season that preceded the immediate one. Helping out Nedoroscik with every minute detail, Arnold soon became his guardian angel.

Speaking about his bonding with Arnold, the Olympian seemed to be all praises. Calling himself a lucky man, Nedoroscik narrated how Arnold helped him break the ice initially. He said, “I was a little embarrassed because I wasn’t picking up on the steps very fast but like she saw like how motivated I was and like I was like if I’m doing this like I’m going all out. So like that’s what I’ve been doing and like l’ve been getting compliments.” Nedoroscik also hilariously stated that he was not aware of anything about DWTS.
Well, this was not the only instance of Nedoroscik praising his partner. Initially, Nedoroscik was not at all accustomed to wearing high heels. Focusing on his upper body all his life as a Pommel Horse specialist, things looked quite difficult for him. Feeling the pain in his legs, it was Arnold who constantly guided the ‘Clark Kent of gymnastics’ and made him comfortable in high heels.

Recalling his training regime, Nedoroscik mentioned how he almost tripped while wearing heels. He also narrated an interesting story about ripping off his costume in typical Superman style. During one of his performances, Nedoroscik had a spot where he would appear in a Superman avatar, ripping off his costume. This was a tricky moment as while the gymnast would rip off the top half, it was up to the backup dancers and his partner to take care of the rest. Luckily for Nedoroscik, things went smoothly as Riley Arnold managed the spot with incredible ease. Together, the duo put on some of the most amazing performances so far.
