Does the 30-time World Championships medal-winning gymnast Simone Biles have a daughter? However, the questions and rumors surrounding the 27-year-old gymnastics icon’s motherhood are far more common than you’d guess.

If you’re wondering why people might think Biles has a daughter if she never gave birth, the reason many have raised this question is because of Baby Biles’ frequent appearances on the gymnast’s social media. Simone has been making several posts, cradling Little Ronni Louise Biles in her arms since November 2022. But what relation does she hold with that little ball of sunshine?

The baby girl often seen in Simone’s arms is not her daughter but her niece. Born on November 25, 2022, Baby Biles is the daughter of the champion gymnast’s older brother, Ron, and sister-in-law, Sammi Biles. Yet, that doesn’t mean the seven-time Olympic medalist’s niece wasn’t the star of the Biles family as soon as she came into the world, making Simone Biles exclaim, “I’m so proud to be your TT, and I’m excited to spoil you!” But it wasn’t just because Baby Biles was the newest addition, but because she’s the blessing they’ve long awaited.

Ronni Biles’ birth was a significant moment for the entire Biles family. It marked the end of a long and difficult struggle for Roni and his wife, Samantha Biles, who struggled with pregnancy loss. After their marriage, Simone Biles’ brother and sister-in-law fought a long and emotionally taxing battle with infertility and in vitro fertilization (IVF).

“I’m still in shock, to be completely transparent. It’s taken me some time to process as every day is a miracle + huge milestone for us,” Ron Biles wrote while announcing the pregnancy with their “rainbow baby.” Hence, it’s easy to see why Baby Biles finds her way into her aunt’s arms every time they meet. And they meet quite often, especially considering how huge (albeit tiny) a fan Ronni is of not just her aunt but also gymnastics! And earlier this year, the one-year-old took her first steps to follow in Simone Biles’ footsteps.

On May 4, Sammi shared a picture of her daughter dressed in a blue leotard adorned with colorful macaroons. While that was enough indication of Baby Biles’ love for gymnastics, it was the place where the picture was taken that got everyone’s attention. Ronni had her eyes fixed on French gymnast Mélanie de Jesus dos Santos, who trains alongside Simone at the WCC. Yes, the “tiny gymnast with big dreams,” as Sammi put it, was at the WCC. And just a couple of days later, Simone shared a picture of her niece, too, (unofficially) inducting her into the WCC.

Dressed in a replica of Simone Biles’ 2023 Xfinity Championships leotard, the little munchkin was at the WCC again. The 27-year-old wrote on her Instagram story, “WCC’s newest elite team member, my niece Ronni.” Since then, Ronni Biles has shown her love and support for her “TT” in more ways than one – be it wearing replicas of her leotards, cheering for Simone when she’s on TV, or even giving up her morning educational videos to watch highlights of her aunt rocking it on the mats.

So, long story short. Simone Biles doesn’t have a daughter. But she sure has a niece who would do just about anything to support the four-time Olympic medalist as she competes on the biggest of stages. That said…

Beyond gymnastics, is Simone Biles focusing on parenthood?

The nine-time NCAA all-around champion faced questions about her plans to become a mother as soon as she announced her engagement. Answering an eager fan on Instagram, the world’s best gymnast revealed that she wanted two kids. Biles’ football player husband, Jonathan Owens, a safety for the Chicago Bears, also wants children.

Biles revealed that Owens hopes they’ll become proud parents of three children. However, the Paris-bound Olympian was quite frustrated with unfounded rumors in December last year. When Owen’s supportive wife went to one of his NFL games, some commentators speculated if the gymnast was pregnant. An agitated Biles later shut down those rumors.

In the Instagram post made by the 2023 all-around world champion, where she stated, “I hate that I even have to address this, but please stop commenting on this photo,” it was clear that she and her husband want to become parents, but they would not be entertaining these speculations anytime soon.
