On 28th May 2024, Cécile Landi took to her Instagram stories to share a moment of pride as she reposted a thrilling announcement from Equipe France, revealing the official selection of athletes for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Among the chosen few were her daughter, Juliette Landi, alongside other talented athletes in cycling, fencing, artistic swimming, and diving.

The caption of the post exclaimed, “🚨 OFFICIAL SELECTION FOR PARIS 2024. 28 athletes join the Olympic delegation in road cycling, fencing, artistic swimming and diving! ️️” Cécile couldn’t contain her excitement as she penned her own caption, “She is going to Paris! We’re so proud of her and so excited for her!!!! Bravo Juju!!!!” But the festivities didn’t stop there.

Simone Biles, the gymnastics sensation herself, also joined in, sharing the same post on her Instagram stories and offering her congratulations to the seventeen-year-old. In her caption, she exclaimed, “GO @juliette_landi PARIS BOUND,” accompanied by celebratory emojis of the French flag and a heart. Juliette Landi reveals how gymnastics led to her finding diving

On her Instagram profile, Juliette Landi shared a carousel post alongside her teammate Nais Gillet. The young member of the Landi clan shared that, ever since she was a child, she had dreamed of participating in the Olympics. Initially, Juliette had envisioned herself as a gymnast, but about three years ago, she discovered scuba diving and fell in love with it. This newfound passion led her to pursue diving seriously.

She expressed immense joy and excitement in announcing her selection to represent France in the synchronized 3 m diving event at the Paris Olympics, alongside her partner Nais Gillet. Thank you to all of my coaches, teammates in the USA and France for all of their support! It means so much to me!”
