American gymnastics icon Jordan Chiles is known for her sassy style, and for the same reasons, the Olympic Champion was roped in by Nike earlier this year. It was a dream come true moment for the Tokyo Olympics silver medalist. But come Christmas, she has chosen an alternate style now, defying the norms, sensitivities and conventional strictures of modern fashion.
US Olympic athletes were dazzling in their respective Christmas looks, and so was Jordan Chiles. While she didn’t choose to don an athletic dress, Chiles went gung ho with a medieval styled attire to amp up her winter game.

Chiles took to Instagram to post a series of Christmas Eve pictures defying the modern grace and elan. “Merry Christmas eve the renaissance way”, Chiles captioned her Christmas Eve post and looked impeccable doing so. The 22-year-old chose to go medieval, the ‘renaissance’ way, wearing a silver white wedding type dress. She had her arms covered up to the elbows as well while a similar colored silver-white heel shimmering on her feet.

It wasn’t the Christmas dress, but rather one for the Christmas Eve festivities. Earlier this year in June, Chiles became a Nike athlete. Fulfilling the promise, she posted the pictures in Nike clothing later on Christmas. Chiles was wearing a Nike sweater, socks, and leggings, prompting her to caption the post, “Merry Nike Christmas”. A white Christmas tree stood in the background while several gifts stood aligned on her left side. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Chiles had a dream of morphing into a Nike athlete.

Chiles’ Nike athlete dream
Owing to her athletic prowess and enigmatic and esoteric sense of style, the billion-dollar apparel brand Nike took Jordan Chiles under their wing as an athlete, marking a dream come true moment for the 22-year-old. Expressing their happiness, Chiles’s mother expressed, “When I tell you I’m proud of this girl…!! She just keeps pushing for her goals, and today–she is officially a @Nike athlete. When she was about 10, she said SHE wanted this…and here she is.”.

Chiles surely had worked on that dream since a very young age, and rightfully deserved the accolade. She later posted an exciting video showing a white Parisian-themed box-shaped house resembling a Barbie Dreamhouse. It marked the maiden Nike collaboration of the US gymnast who could be seen beaming with joy.
