The NFL traveled to London with the Chicago Bears to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars as part of the 2024 NFL International Series. Owens and his team maintained the momentum gained at the beginning of the 2024-25 season. A struggling Jaguars were met with an electrifying display of skill from the Bears. The Chicago team trounced the Jacksonville Jaguars 35-16, and rookie Bears star Caleb Williams dominated the game. For obvious reasons, Owens was in good spirits.

His second trip to Europe this year probably reminded him of how he felt like a VIP in Paris as he cheered for Simone and her teammates at the Olympics, and it seems like he wanted to make sure his wife felt the same, too. Even a whole ocean between them can’t dilute the love between Jonathan Owens and his wife Simone Biles. If anything, it only gives the couple a chance to profess their love for each other all over again. And what better way to show it than with a special gift?

By now, it’s evident that the football safety loves to spoil the gymnastics GOAT in every possible way. And he has done it again.

Simone Biles’ latest Instagram story gave fans a glimpse of the surprise her husband, Jonathan Owens, had for her the moment he touched down on U.S. soil. Wasting no time, Owens presented the Olympian with a chic Chanel gift, perfectly wrapped in the iconic black box with the signature white ribbon and flower knot. Clearly feeling the love, Biles captioned the post with, “I’m spoilt,” as Owens proudly held up the luxe gift. Biles didn’t show what he got her, though!

As Biles continues her road trip with her Gold Over America Tour gang, this is probably just the thing she needs to make her forget the exhaustion that’s obviously taking its toll by now.

Owens’ return to the States luckily happened on the same date as when Biles had a day off on her hands. After a spellbinding show in Duluth on October 13, the GOAT squad is scheduled to hit St. Charles, Missouri, two days later. Understandably, the day in between gave them both the perfect opportunity to catch up.

Now, we don’t know where Owens picked up the special gift for the 7x Olympic gold medalist, whether while in the British capital or after his flight touched down in the US. But one thing’s for sure: His continued efforts to give Simone Biles everything she deserves show just how much he admires her, not only as a gymnast but also as his life partner.

Both Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens rarely miss any chance to cheer for each other. Their determination to stand in each other’s corner is so great that the NFL player even convinced his new camp to allow him to fly to Paris for the 33rd Olympics to watch his wife decimate all competition.

Owens later revealed that he was a man on a mission on his very first day with the Bears, trying to put the word in people’s ears about his wish to cheer for Biles on her Olympic redemption journey. “I told my agent and I was just kind of ‘Put it in people’s ears’. So you know you walk around with people in the building and like, ‘You know the Olympics in the summer, right?’,” the football star noted.

His trick worked. “They basically asked me what days I wanted to miss and I said ‘The 29 or the third’. I said these are the two finals that I want to be able to check out and they ended up like, ‘Both dates are fine, just so you don’t feel like you have to be rushed to get back in.’”

And that’s how he made his way to the City of Love to watch his wife compete. People were quite surprised to see Owens because previously when he was with the Green Bay Packers, he didn’t get the opportunity to be present for Biles’s competitions due to the team’s strict policies. But with the Bears, Jonathan Owens managed to wriggle some time out.
