Ever since the Pittsburgh Pirates’ first pick made the relationship public earlier this year, the duo has seen only a rise in presence and popularity. The status, however, has entailed the persisting efforts of the two despite their all-pervasive, ever-busy schedules, inclusive of college and sports.

Earlier this year, Paul Skenes was drafted as the No. 1 overall selection being promoted to Altoona. As for Livvy, the highest-paid collegiate female athlete has been juggling content creation, NCAA, and academics. But come the holiday season, the two seem to have taken out time to lay back.

Olivia Dunne catches flights and feelings

Recently, Paul and Olivia Dunne found an escape to New York as apparent from their social media updates. Following the busy streets of Times Square and Manhattan’s behemoth skyline, Olivia flaunted the journey through the ride, soaring over the city in her latest TikTok. “Date night>,“ Livvy wrote atop the clip of the two heading towards a private helicopter. The video beautifully presented the city’s sunset and skyline as the two sat warmed up in black puffer jackets, marveling at the sight.

Flaunting the date, Olivia added a paradoxical twist to ‘Catching flights not feelings’. As Noah Kahan’s Stick Season tuned the video, Livvy, elated about the relationship, captioned, “Catching flights cause you caught feelings>.” Months to their status reveal and the two keep the fans gushing over their time together. First stadium game night or celebrating friends, Olivia Dunne has found solace with Paul, away from the grueling schedule.

The gymnast’s demanding schedule

As a 21-year-old, Olivia Dunne has earned lucrative brand deals that extol a notable social media presence. Though Olivia doesn’t find it pressuring, considering her yearning for content creation, it takes a considerable time off Livvy’s schedule adding to the exhaustion. College, gymnastics, and flowing interviews and features add to the list of woes as the young sensation juggles through.

According to the New York Post, a typical day for Livvy consists of attending class, homework, studying, eating at the dining hall, and, of course, her gymnastics duties. Following all of this, her time for content lies at night with a little help from her sister, whom she calls the ‘brains behind the operations’. She also added that she usually relies on her family for support. “My family, they stand behind me and my sister, she helps put together videos and sends it to the brand while I’m at practice or competing,” Livvy added during an On3 interview.

Olivia Dunne is currently prepping for the 2024 gymnastics season. And having said ‘support system ensures you don’t get overwhelmed,’ Paul Skenes seems to fit right in.
