In fact, many blamed Carlos Yulo’s girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, for driving a wedge between the mother and the son.

This rumor originated from the fact that the gymnast’s mother felt that the streamer was using her son for money. Thus, many started trolling her. However, Carlos Yulo has always defended her from both his mother and the trolls, seeming to be genuinely in love. Now, Chloe has opened up about their relationship in a podcast.

Chloe San Jose talks about her relationship with Carlos Yulo

In the interview with Toni Gonzaga Studio, Chloe San Jose was asked how she would describe Carlos Yulo as a life partner now that she had been dating him for four years. Chloe said that she felt like Carlos was her partner in crime. She really enjoys her time with him every day as a partner. While she acknowledged that they have different goals as individuals when they are together, none of that matters.

Chloe said, “He’s really my partner in crime. Yeah. We do everything together. Our personal goals are separate. Our individual goals and outlooks in life. But the things that we do every day, we’re really partners in crime.”The streamer was further probed if there was something big she learned from the relationship with Carlos. According to her, he helped her heal from her past demons.

Chloe said that Carlos taught her that love doesn’t always have to be tough, unlike what she was told when she was little. Love can be kind and forgiving, too. While acknowledging that there are moments between the Filipino gymnast and her that are difficult too, they are very forgiving of each other, too. This has helped their relationship become stronger. This strong foundation has helped Chloe a lot. It helped her fight with her childhood traumas, which involved her running away from her house.

Chloe San Jose had a terrible time growing up in Australia, as she had to face abuse in her household. She decided to distract herself from it by concentrating on school activities more and more. However, one day after an argument at the dinner table, she decided enough was enough. Despite attempting to break the wedge between her and her mother, Chloe was unsuccessful. Thus, she decided to pack her bags up and leave. But her parents kept looking for her. Because of this, for two days, police in Australia shielded her from her parents until her best friend took her in. Now that her well being was confirmed, she had to inform the one who was becoming increasingly worried. It was her boyfriend.

At that time, she was already dating Carlos Yulo, who got worried after hearing no communication from her all this while. So, after those two days, she decided to assure Carlos of her well being. She feared that he might think that the streamer had ghosted him. “Good thing he didn’t feel that way.” she said in the same interview. Eventually, it made their bond grow even stronger as the gymnast has been by his girlfriend’s side ever since then and faced all her problems like his own. Thus, it seems like they are a happy couple and will continue to be for the forseeable future.
