After “name, image and likeness” (NIL) was officially codified into NCAA policy in 2021, not only have college athletes started earning millions but the overall growth has been witnessed in college sports. Stars like Olivia Dunne have garnered millions of followers on Instagram, becoming the face of college sports. To give it a further boost, Amazon Prime has come up with a docuseries that will feature LSU stars including Livvy and basketball player Angel Reese.

Olivia’s net worth is in millions and so is Angle Reese’s. As the docuseries features them among other LSU players, the internet has started speculations around whether NBA legend Shaq O’Neal’s production is behind the series since he is a former LSU’ite as well.

In the latest update on X, Front Office Sports informed fans about Amazon’s docuseries ‘The Money Game’ that will feature LSU athletes including Olivia Dunne, Jayden Daniels, Angle Reese, and Flau’jae Johnson. “Amazon has greenlit ‘The Money Game’ — a new docuseries on the impact of NIL within 2023-24 LSU Athletics“, the post read. It will focus on the revolutionary impact of NIL on college sports with the focus being the 2023/24 LSU athletics.

LSU, which is Louisiana’s top university, is one of the top NCAA and SEC teams. It has won SEC-best 51-team national championships and currently boasts 3 of the top 10 NIL earners including Olivia Dunne, who is the highest-paid college athlete. Is Shaq O’Neal’s production company behind The Money Game?

Given Shaq O’Neal’s association with LSU, his production company Jersey Legends is being highly linked with the production crew of The Money Game.
