Simone Biles has done it again! She won her ninth all-around national title at 27 years of age at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships. With this win, she proved she is as good as ever. Her performance also earned her an automatic entry in the U.S. Olympic trials. So, of course, her niece, Ronni Biles, is happy for her.

Ronni aka Baby Biles is just 1.5 years old but was there to support her aunt with her presence in the stands in a shimmering beige onesie. But that is not all. The adorable little one took the celebration to the mats, trying to pull off a few moves to give a gymnastic touch to the triumph! And her mother, Sammi Biles, did not miss sharing the occasion.

Simone Biles’ sister-in-law, Sammi, shared an adorable story on Instagram featuring Ronni. She was seen saying, “Congratulations again to TT on her 9th AA win 🫶🤯🐐✨.” In the video, Baby Biles cutely twirls just as her aunt does on the TV and cheers loudly as Simone proceeds with the rest of her routine, ending in a perfectly executed landing.

Sammi also wrote, “as if she didn’t just yesterday 😂but pretending to do her own version of a full turn like TT & of course a celebratory cheer 🎉however I’m not one bit mad about it that she is enjoying the sport 🥺selfishly I hope it lasts 🤍”. Well, Ronni’s progress indeed gives a boost to her mother’s hopes.

Ronni made her debut in the stands during the 2023 Xfinity US Championships, the meet that saw Simone coming back after pulling out of the Tokyo Olympics. Since then, the little bundle of joy has been there every time Simone took the mats. While her aunty was making history at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Belgium last year, with one more move named after her, Ronni cheered her from afar. More recently, she once again unveiled her little gymnastic self during the core hydration Classic last month.

This time she was in full gymnastic gear donning a special leotard gifted to her by Cecile Landi While watching Simone’s performance. Ronni was seen expressing her adoration through enthusiastic claps and joyful jumps. It seemed like the small one was playing her part in relishing the family’s pride.

In fact, post the US Championships, NBC Sports shared a heartwarming video of the Biles family, including Simone’s mother, her brother, sister-in-law, husband Jonathan Owens, and niece and captioning it, “No one loved Simone Biles’ floor exercise more than her family.”

Ronni remained utterly captivated, not even blinking as Simone flawlessly executed her floor routine. In the end, they all stood up to applaud the performance. But do not think that Baby Biles’ footprints are limited to the stands and screens.

Is Ronni following Simone Biles’s route?

On May 8, Baby Biles took her budding interest in gymnastics to another level. That day, she visited Simone’s training arena at the World Champions Center, run by the Biles family. Simone Biles shared a picture of the tiny munchkin dressed in a black leotard- a replica of the one her aunt wore at the 2023 Xfinity Gymnastics Championships. “WCC’s newest elite team member, my niece Ronni,” the gymnast wrote on her Instagram story. And Ronni’s mother seems to be interested in nurturing the interest.

She even gifted her a ‘Simone Biles: A Little Golden Book Biography’ for her first birthday. While Ronni is having her time with playful gestures, her aunt is up for more serious business. At the 2024 Xfinity US Gymnastics Championships, Simone Biles came out right on top with 119.750 over the two days. After the smashing win, her coach, Cecile Landi, turned the spotlight beyond Simone’s performance.

It’s not even the skills; it’s the attitude and her behavior. I truly feel like she’s happy to be here. I know she says she’s ready to be done, but I think she’s really enjoying it and appreciating every meet she gets to do, ” Landi said. Simone herself has also echoed the same sentiment with the Olympics to raise its curtains in a month. “Today it was just about getting out here, getting comfortable and confident in my gymnastics, and hopefully going to Olympic trials and taking that next step towards Paris.”

We all sit with our fingers crossed to witness that moment. But at the same time, one can not help but be curious to see what the new Baby Biles is going to do to cheer for Simone on the biggest stage: the Paris Olympics.
