After traveling across the entire nation, Simone Biles & Co. is currently in the Lone Star State. But on October 19, the Gold Over America Tour finally made the much-anticipated stop in the gymnast’s hometown of Houston. The “pop concert-style spectacle” graced the Moody Center on Saturday. For obvious reasons, the 11-time Olympic medalist was as excited as ever to return to where it all began after her spectacular display in the French capital.
In fact, Houston was just as excited to welcome the prodigal daughter home. However, no one was as excited as Ronni Biles, aka Baby Biles. The tiny tot watched her aunt ‘TT’ dazzle the crowds at Bercy Arena in the French capital, and as the GOAT came to Toyota Center in Houston, it was only natural for Ronni Biles to follow Simone there, too! Thanks to Sammi Biles, Simone’s sister-in-law, we got a glimpse of just how pumped up Baby Biles was.
Sammi shared an adorable clip on her Instagram story of them walking towards the stadium. The video was captioned, “my whole heart. so excited 🥹,” and in it, Sammi asked Ronnie who she saw as they approached the gates. There, of course, on the big screens outside Toyota Center was Simone Biles. Recognizing her aunt and as adorable as ever, Ronni exclaimed, “TT!”

We can definitely see why she is excited to watch Simone Biles. Sammi matched her energy by chanting, “TT go, TT go.” The tiny tot couldn’t help but lift her hands up and clap as her mom continued chanting. Shortly after making it inside, Sammi shared another video of them enjoying the show.
Everyone had eyes on the stage, but Ronnie Biles was looking elsewhere. Her father held her on his lap as Baby Biles looked over to the side, pointing at what we assumed was a giant screen. Maybe she was trying to get a better look at her aunt.
All said and done, it was an experience to remember for Baby Biles. And, of course, for her aunt. The stop at Houston was the 23rd show in the GOAT, preceded by a trip to Austin on Friday and followed by one to Forth Worth to wrap up the Texas swing on Sunday. But performing in front of her home crowd was seemingly an unmatchable feeling. At least, that’s what was evident from her story: “Show at home hits different.”
In anticipation of Simone Biles & Co’s trip to Houston, the official Gold Over America Tour Instagram account shared a video of Clutch, the Houston Rockets mascot, trying to woo the Olympian with his gymnastics skills. They captioned the video, “Houston, are you ready to GOAT this weekend?” And boy, oh boy, were they ready. Even though Clutch’s moves were slightly shakey, he managed to bring a smile to the most decorated gymnast’s face.
That said, Baby Biles wasn’t the only one who got to watch the GOAT in her element.
Guess who stopped by in Houston to spend time with Simone Biles?
A certain Chicago Bears safety cheered his wife on while she racked up medals in the French capital. However, as soon as they returned to the States, their time was cut short. The culprit in question? Their unbelievably busy schedules. Jonathan Owens had to resume training for the ongoing NFL season while the Olympian prepared to take the Gold Over America Tour around the country. Even though they had to settle for a long-distance situation, they found ways to visit each other throughout.
Simone Biles was back in her hometown, and she couldn’t help but share it on her Instagram story. But she wasn’t alone. Jonathan Owens joined her as they shared some much-needed alone time. Simone shared a few snaps of them sharing brunch, her infamous pout, while her husband sneaked a tender kiss. In fact, the lovebirds even enjoyed some shopping therapy as they walked around the streets of her hometown.

The most decorated gymnast shared a snap of this wholesome moment on her Instagram story, captioned, “🤍🤍🤍🤍 when hubby comes on tour.” But this isn’t the only thing the duo did while they were in Houston. During their downtime, both added another skill to their already illustrious resumes. What was it? They are both now dart experts. The Chicago Bears safety shared a brief video on his Instagram story on October 19 of a dart in the center of the board.

Owens captioned the video, “When you and ya lady the dart champs.” Should we keep an eye out for them in upcoming dart competitions? However, the gymnast captioned the story, “Send em home mad.” It looks like homecoming was a huge success, a great show, some much-needed time with her family, and much more to look forward to.
