Sammi’s struggles and breaking the stigma of miscarriage
Back in June, nearly six months after giving birth to Ronni Biles, lovingly known as Baby Biles, through the help of IVF, Sammi shared a deeply moving update. In her heartfelt message, she wrote, “Ronni would have had a little sister ??.” Alongside this message, she attached a note where she bravely opened up about the heartbreak of experiencing a second miscarriage.
Prior to this loss, Ronn, Simone’s brother, had also recounted that Sammi’s first miscarriage occurred after more than nine weeks of pregnancy.
Up until that point, everything had seemed promising. Her health was stable, her pregnancy was progressing well, and they even had a due date to look forward to. There were no warning signs that the pregnancy would tragically end, which made the loss all the more devastating.
