The collegiate gymnastics season is raging on and athletes from across the country are having to undergo a stringent schedule. To keep up with the high demands, gymnasts are left with little time in between the games to recover from their last performances, and LSU star Olivia Dunne isn’t safe from the burden either.

With the Auburn Tigers preparing dedicatedly to meet the LSU squad tomorrow, Dunne & Co. are being given a run for their money. However, luckily for the LSU gymnasts, their training staff levies equal importance on their recovery as on their training routines to make sure the athletes are on top of their game every single time.

Olivia Dunne hits the gym after Mardi Gras celebrations

In her latest Instagram post, Olivia Dunne gave her fans a sneak peek into what the recovery process of a D1 athlete looks like. Accompanied by a massage emoji, Dunne’s post reads, “much needed”, and it looks like she’s in safe hands when it comes to getting her back her A-game ahead of the big SEC clash. The short video clip along with the post shows Dunne using various equipment to get into shape days after her crucial role in LSU’s win against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Interestingly, some additional motivation for her to spend time in the gym can also be spotted as Olivia’s pet Roux helps her feel the good vibes amid the session.

Only yesterday, Olivia and sister Julz were seen celebrating Mardi Gras with a large seafood platter. Considering her recent deviance from her usual diet, Dunne probably needs to shed a lot of extra calories before facing Auburn and her post has her fans convinced as evident from the comment section.

Since her post went online, Olivia’s fans have gathered in throngs to admire her determination to make sure her form doesn’t falter this Friday. “Javier commented, “You are an amazing role model,I really admire your hard work and dedication.” Despite being seen at the gym, one can’t ignore how pretty the LSU athlete looks, and Jason had a rather different request for the star. “Will you be my valentine,” enquired the fan.
