Sporting custom-made, Pirates-themed boots featuring her love and tribute for Skenes, Livvy created quite a buzz among fans and the media alike. As she cheered from the stands, Skenes showcased his talent by striking out heavy hitters like Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, and Jazz Chisholm Jr. in just two innings, putting an exclamation mark on his rookie year.

While Skenes is rocking his field as a debutant, Dunne is returning to LSU for her fifth year with the Lady Tigers. After celebrating the evening as the biggest cheerleader for Skenes, Olivia chose to celebrate the success of Skenes with an Instagram photo dump. Looking back on their journey together, Dunne shared a thread of pictures of her with Paul Skenes.

Captioning the Instagram post, “My little rookie,” Olivia Dunne gave a nod to her partner’s remarkable first season, it appears. Skenes posted an 11-3 record, a 1.96 ERA, and 170 strikeouts, marking a phenomenal start. The photos captured moments from their time together, from ballpark outings to private celebrations, showcasing the support and love that’s grown between the two athletes.

Olivia Dunne also took to her Instagram story to post her pictures with Paul. She captioned one of her stories, “rookie szn  baby”. While on another story, Livvy took a humorous take and captured ‘smol’ Skenes from the stands. However, it’s not just Dunne who is making  their relationship flourish. Paul Skenes too makes sure that his love for Dunne is sky-touching!

Despite their demanding schedules, Skenes and Dunne try their best to prioritize one another’s comfort and happiness while remaining dedicated to their career. Paul Skenes, besides showering endless love for Dunne, also tries to take care of the comfort of his girlfriend. In a recent episode of the podcast Best of Both Worlds, hosted by Flau’Jae, Dunne shared an extravagant gesture from Skenes that left listeners in awe. 

The LSU gymnast revealed that Skenes once chartered a private jet for her to make traveling easier amidst her busy school and gymnastics commitments. Yes, you read that right! Olivia stated, “I’m busy and don’t really have time to drive… so Paul will sometimes provide an easier way of getting from point A to point B,” explained Dunne. However, this is not the only reason why the private jet is chartered.

Livvy further shared how Skenes often just craves to meet the love of his life. And, just to spend a few hours with Livvy, Skenes ask Dunne to take a few hours out and fly to him. Both the athletes never shy away for going that extra mile to make sure that their bond grows and deepens with the passage of time.

For these two rising stars, 2024 might turn out to be a season of triumphs. Alongside Skenes, Livvy too is waiting for the big days to come in her final year with LSU. As Dunne gears up for her final gymnastics season, Skenes’ attention may soon shift from the mound to the mat.
