With each day passing by, Carlos Yulo’s family feud is taking fresh turns. Previously, the Filipino gymnast brought in serious charges against his mother, Angelica, who had been at the helm of controlling his account. In a TikTok video, Yulo went heavily on his mom, criticizing her for creating a mess with his hard-earned prize money and using those without his consent. However, Angelica Yulo steadfastly refused her son’s allegations. She claimed to be clean in every aspect. But things did not stop there. 

According to Carlos Yulo, he is seeing these rough days because her mother has disapproved of his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose. He thinks that Angelica’s fear revolves around San Jose’s probability of duping him financially. But now, Carlos’s belle has made an entry on the issue, and the fans are not taking it lightly. 

The war of words takes things further down in the gymnast’s family 

Meanwhile, Carlos Yulo has been wishing for a wholesome solution to end the clash between the family. But the present trend is not adding any bright line to the issue. As per the update shared by the Southeast Asia media outlet, Inquirer, Carlos’s father, Mark Andrew, came forward to end the fire. He posted a few lines on Wednesday on Facebook to douse the ongoing rift. Commenting on his son, he noted, “I’m happy with what you achieved. But you should apologize to your mother for telling her to steal your image.” However, Carlos remained absent in posting a reply. But his girlfriend left a few lines in the comment box. 

In her reply to the gymnast’s father, Chloe went brick-batting on Angelica, bringing up her alleged behavior with her son ahead of the Paris Olympics. She wrote, “Why don’t you also say that aunt Ange cursed Carloy to crawl on the ground before he qualified for the Olympics, last year…she even said that no matter how many rosaries she sends to Carloy, Carloy will never win.” Meanwhile, she also mentioned that neither she nor her boyfriend holds any grudges against Andrew Yulo’s standing. Rather, the Australian showered her praise on the senior Yulo for his prayer for Carlos. But in the next minute, she reminded him that all things were happening because Angelica was breathing fire. Chloe San Jose ended her reply by asking for a ‘healing’ for the family members. 

Yet, the fans have many points to ponder. A few days ago, Mark Andrew Yulo reshared a carousel of screenshots of social media chats. As per him, those chats had been done by Chloe San Jose and her family, gossiping about Angelica Yulo. In several snaps, Chloe could be seen calling Angelica a ‘coward’ for her nature of running away from giving justification to several arguments. 

Eventually, Gerald Fajardo, a family friend of Carlos Yulo, took those snaps and shared them on social media. He also has the same argument as Carlos’s mother complained—San Jose is utilizing her boyfriend’s wealth and fame. And who does not know there are more paychecks on the line because of Carlos’s achievement at the French capital? Therefore, the fans now want the gymnast to end the fiasco. 

Fans are calling for steady action from Carlos Yulo to erase the ‘toxicity’

Fans are expecting the issue in Yulo and San Jose’s family to deteriorate as a tremendous prize is waiting for Carlos because of his double Olympic gold snagging. So they want the families to tighten the loose ends privately. But it can only be possible when the gymnast will take the reins. As his girlfriend also has a fair share of allegations, her entry into the issue might end up refueling the matter. So a fan wrote on X, “GF should not answer for Carlo. Period. He should be man enough to ponder on this and make the move to settle this. Family. You don’t turn your back on family. Even when they do. Without family, you’ve got nothing.” 

Meanwhile, another fan emerged in the discussion to let the six-time world championship medalist know the value of his family: “If I were Caloy. I’ll give one of the cars, 1 of the houses and a million or 2 to my parents. It is up to them if they squander or neglect the House and car. The heck ..I will give them a chance and forget about everything BUT the moment I feel that toxicity again. We’re OUT.” But almost no one came in support of his girlfriend, the social media sensation. Rather, several followers advised her not to put her head into the ongoing fire. The result might tarnish Carlos Yulo’s image. 

A comment of such nature appeared: “Can only agree Chloe should not answer for Caloy. This makes him look -whipped.” But the loss has already followed because of the illogical stretching of the issue on social media. One fan tried to derive that losing amount in the comment, “Social media became their scapegoat. They should fix this in private, both sides.” This mindset has been abundant on social media, as fans have felt discomfort seeing the muddy affair from their idol.
