November 12 could be the day that makes things up for the Dancing With The Stars fans! After last week’s episode was scrapped to make way for the Presidential election coverage, things will return with a bang this Tuesday, and it’s looking exciting already. The upcoming DWTS episode will be the milestone 500th one of the popular show, and the stakes are understandably high. However, the break from the performance gave Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik and his dancing partner Rylee Arnold the perfect opportunity to catch up with their social lives for a while.
Nedoroscik and Arnold have been tearing down the house since September with their enigmatic dance routines. While the Olympic medalist has been able to show that he’s perfectly at home on the dance floor, the show has also taken over his life entirely, leaving him little time to do anything else. In such a situation, the electoral coverage came as a boon.
Arnold shared a brief video snippet on her Instagram story today (November 9) showing her and Stephen Nedoroscik going for the Los Angeles premiere of Wicked with their respective beaus. Captioned “On our way!!!!” the IG update shows Arnold sitting shotgun in the car beside her boyfriend USC tight end Walker Lyons. Nedoroscik and his glamorous bae Tess McCracken can be seen sitting in the backseat and all four passengers can’t hide their glee as they get to go to an event after the dancing show dictated their lives over the past two months.

The Ariana Grande-starring movie premiered at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in LA ahead of its global release, slated for later this month. The event would present itself as the perfect place for the Olympian and his pals to revel among their fans before Nedoroscik and Arnold go back to the studio to perfect their Viennese Walt routine to the tunes of Joji’s Glimpse of Us. However, it seems like the squad was running a little late for their own good, and Rylee can be heard saying in the IG story, “Hopefully we make it time for the carpet.”
Arnold was later heard saying how her first public red-carpet appearance with Lyons felt like a dream and the football star also couldn’t help but gush how he had the most beautiful date ever. But the hearty thing is that all four of them look super happy to get some time off from work after almost two months. This break from monotony could be just the thing that ensures Stephen and Rylee can make the 500th episode of Dancing With the Stars a memorable one.
Stephen Nedoroscik’s final dance-off nears
2024 has been a year to remember for the Penn State alum. Bringing home a medal with the Team USA’s male gymnasts from the Olympic Games after almost two decades, Nedoroscik made history in August. And then, as his buddies hit the road again led by Simone Biles for the second edition of the Gold Over America Tour, the Nittany Lion decided to turn his gaze to the glam world of dancing. However, while he was new to the dancing world, Nedoroscik soon found out that there are plenty of similarities between performing on the pommel horse as well as the dance floor, as he took a deep dive into the latter. “Believe it or not, I find parallels between dancing with the stars and the Olympics or any gymnastics competition very much,” he told Joe Vulpis during an interview.

But DWTS also gave Stephen a chance to hail his gymnastics brethren as well. On Dedication Night, the Clark Kent lookalike nodded his hat toward his national teammates as he and Arnold showed off their Argentine Tango skills to the tunes of Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes. But dancing hasn’t been a jazz in the park either. “My body hurts so much,” Nedoroscik revealed without hesitation as he underscored how his new passion is also pushing his body to the limit. But will he be able to rise to the challenge and make his final three performances as emphatic as he has been these past few weeks? Tell us your predictions in the comments!
