After shining brightly on the mats all while representing Florida Gators, gymnastics prodigy, Savannah Schoenherr made the transfer from the University of Florida to Louisiana State University. She swapped a Florida Gators’ leotard for one bearing the LSU Tigers’ insignia. With her sixth year in collegiate gymnastics looming, Schoenherr is seen as a trump card in LSU’s pursuit of a national championship in 2024.

Savannah Schoenherr had a few obstacles to surmount. For instance, she broke her foot due to a gymnastics-unrelated incident. That sidelined her the day before the season began in 2023. She did not let that get her down, however. Her move to the LSU gymnastics team was a surprise to many who expected UCLA to be her destination. She took to social media to share an update regarding her musical tastes.
