Stephen Nedoroscik got back on the pommel horse for his most recent performance on Dancing With the Stars. Paying tribute to the sport that propelled him to popularity, he brought his gymnastics skills to the ballroom for Week 5. No surprise that it led to his highest score yet and earning a first nine from the judges this season. Even though he has been performing exceptionally well, like all good things his stint on the show will draw to a close soon enough as he gets back to the mat. But is there a chance we could see Clark Kent on the dance floor again?
Many had hoped to see more of Nedoroscik, who gained fame not only for his double bronze medal exploits in Paris, but also for his calm demeanor and an uncanny resemblance to Superman’s alter ego, Clark Kent. Since then he has come up with unique ways to entertain the fans, even recreating the popular Superman meme associated with him during his Olympics run. His Week 5 performance left fans wanting more and there is a chance we could get to see him on the dance floor after this season ends.

After scoring a strong 33/40 for their Argentine Tango routine, Stephen Nedoroscik and his dance partner, Rylee Arnold, made their way off the stage. DWTS shared a snippet of how things were behind the scenes on their Instagram story shortly after. “Hi guys, it’s Rylee and Stephen here,” the duo excitedly waved their hands to the camera. Summarizing how their night went, Arnold exclaimed, “We just danced. It went great.” However, she did drop one massive surprise.
“And maybe you’ll be seeing Stephen on tour, I don’t know.” While the Olympian feigned surprise, he eventually followed her statement with a ‘maybe’ to the camera. The video shared on DWTS’ Instagram story was captioned, “Have your people call our people 🙃 @stephen_nedoroscik.” So which tour is Arnold referring to?
Dancing With the Stars: Live! was announced on October 7. The tour will feature Rylee Arnold, Pasha Pashkov, Daniella Karagach, Brandon Armstrong, Emma Slater, Britt Stewart, Alan Bersten, and Gleb Savchenko. Their official website states that the cast could be changed. However, celebrity guests haven’t been announced yet. But given the fan appeal and attention Nedoroscik has brought with him, it is possible that he could be part of the celebrity guest list. Even earlier the gymnast had shared his excitement for such a country-wide tour.
“I think would be like incredibly fun like how cool would it be to just go around the country and do like dance routines that you learn throughout the entire fall,” he told Joe Vulpis.
The tour will make 68 tour stops, beginning at the Altria Theater in Virginia on January 7. The tour concludes at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on April 5. The audience could relive Season 33, and the ticket went live on October 11. While the Olympian hasn’t been announced as a guest for the tour, he definitely would want to partake in it.

The Tuesday episode of DWTS was Dedication Night and Nedoroscik started his Argentine Tango with pro partner Rylee Arnold with a stint on the pommel horse. He then dismounted and went into a dance to “Seven Nation Army” by the White Stripes. The pair scored 33 points with judge Derek Hough giving them their first nine this season.
Speaking before the performance, Nedoroscik said why he wanted to dedicate it to gymnastics. “Recently, the NCAA has been cutting men’s gymnastics, and it could go away. Men’s gymnastics made me the man I am today. I want to be able to pour my heart out in this performance for my sport.”

Stephen Nedoroscik embraced the Clark Kent references on DWTS
During the Paris Olympics, Nedoroscik drew attention due to his spectacled looks drawing comparisons with DC’s fictional character Clark Kent. The comparisons went to the next level after he was seen meditating and being calm before stepping up to win the bronze medal, channeling his inner Superman.
The social media was flooded with memes of Nedoroscik’s transformation for the competition and he took the chance to replicate that on DWTS. During the second week of the competition, he came out wearing a suit before tearing it away to reveal a red dress and danced a paso doble to “Superman – Main Theme” by John Williams for Oscars Night.
