Liberty Lee started gymnastics at the age of just three and never stopped since then. Due to her talent, she received a Red Funnel sponsorship, for which she is grateful. Darby Nelson underwent her first surgery at the age of eight for a supracondylar fracture on her elbow. During her injury, her mother described her nature and attitude, which was simply heartwarming. In the same way Lee was cleared for training again, the 8-year-old thanked everyone in the hospital, saying, “Thank you for being so kind to me and mending my arms”. The beginning of her gymnastics career was nothing short of pure talent and unending passion. In the year 2022, Liberty Lee, along with 2 more girls, was crowned an overall champion in her age group. She secured the 4th place on Vault, 1st on bars and beam, 1st on floor, and the 1st Overall Champion. At the age of 6, her grace and talent dazzled the judges who were floored by her makings.
