Arguing that gymnastics form the fundamentals of all sports collectively, Fred Richards seconded his interviewer’s statement by saying that gymnastics is definitely the best base sport. The interviewer also believes in Fred Richard’s thought process that if learned at an early age, gymnastics is an amazing skill to develop. Those skills can be further implemented in any sport which an individual probably wants to build on in his future years.

Still waiting for the Olympic qualification at the Olympic Trials, Fred Richards has already made pre-declarations of his wanting to win Olympic gold at the 2024 Paris Olympic season, which has in return built up pressure to triumph in the games. Thus talking about his scuffle in this year’s Olympic Games, the American gymnast was asked whether he was aiming to outscore his past competitors, to which he answered diligently .
,Fred Richard announced, “The British team, the Chinese team and the Japanese team, have no effect on our gymnastics at all.” Not getting affected by any of his previous successors, he told in the podcast episode 58 to Sam Oldham, “I honestly think we all know our path to being the best gymnast we can be in four months from now.” “It’s not going to come down to how we affect Britain and how Britain affects us. it comes down to how we perform at the highest level.”, he admitted.
