Twitter’s tribute to GOAT Simone Biles
After her appearance in Tokyo Olympics, Biles’ Twitter page showed a remarkable emoji. Simone earned a GOAT emoji on her Twitter handle. The emoji illustrates a goat wearing a red leotard with a gold medal. The emoji can be seen if a user searches for #Simone or #SimoneBiles on Twitter. After her, other Olympics legends like Michael Phelps, Serena Williams, and Michael Jordan also joined the list.
In addition, to all of her greatest achievements, Simone became the first female athlete with a GOAT emoji. In contrast, Simone told People.com that she didn’t consider herself as the GOAT. She stated, “I don’t think of myself as the G.O.A.T., and that’s not why I wear the goat on my Leo. It was kind of a joke in the beginning. I wore one in 2019, and it was just funny because the haters were so upset.”
Simone further added, “What we did is to kind of tick them off even more. So I was happy because it’s like good. Now you guys are annoyed because you’re annoying me.” As Biles withdrew from Tokyo Olympics, her fans eagerly awaited her response regarding the upcoming Paris Olympics.
