Back then, Biles stepped back from multiple finals to put her mental health front and center. Now, at 27, she’s a peculiar athlete from the one who left Japan under the spotlight. With just four days left until the Paris Olympics, it seems that more than Biles, Baby Biles is over the moon, eagerly waiting to see her TT (Simone Biles) shine in Paris!

Simone Biles’ niece, Ronni Louise Biles, affectionately known as “Baby Biles,” is already turning heads and stealing hearts in the gymnastics fraternity. At just 1.6 years old, Baby Biles, the daughter of Simone’s older brother, Ron, and his wife, Sammi, seems to follow in her famous aunt’s footsteps, showing signs that she might just be the next big thing in gymnastics.

However, on 22nd June, Sammi Biles shared a heartwarming Instagram post featuring Baby Biles in a glittery pink leotard of GK Elite with Simone’s name on it, reminiscent of the one Simone wore during the U.S. Championships in June. Notably, she clinched her ninth championship victory at the event.

Brimming with enthusiasm, the little dynamo danced and posed in front of the mirror with all the excitement of the Paris Olympics. Sammi’s caption read, “tiny human 🤝🏽 BIG💖confidence & we are here for it 🫶🏼 still in shock + full of gratitude getting to live a freaking dream 🥹 with our little family 😭 @rbiles2 TYJ🤍,” perfectly capturing the family’s joy and pride. Clearly, Baby Biles is already showing she has what it takes to follow in her aunt’s footsteps and make her mark in gymnastics.

But what was truly exciting were Sammi’s words in the video, “POV: that feeling when you will be in Paris this week & going to be freaking Olympics to cheer on TT”. But this isn’t the first time this little star has shown her excitement for her TT by sporting a leotard just like Simone’s.

A few days ago, Baby Biles sacrificed her sleep to watch her Aunt Simone Biles perform a floor routine on YouTube. Despite being too early in the morning, Baby Biles was wide awake and watching Simone’s performance at the trials.

Sammi shared the moment on Instagram with the caption, “This child has been up since 5:30 and only slept about 7 hours, & mom = 5. Thank goodness for YouTube and USAG!” Even during the trials, Baby Biles was the loudest cheerleader for Simone, showing her enthusiasm.

At the end of June, during trials, Simone Biles’ entire family was there to support her, including Jonathan Owens, Biles’ parents, her brother, and Sammi. However, it was Baby Biles who stole the show. She wore a leotard that drew attention and mirrored the one Simone wore during the 2021 Gymnastics Trials. But Baby Biles started supporting Biles even before she turned 1.

Remember the 2023 Xfinity US Championships? There, she cheered enthusiastically for Simone’s comeback. Also, in May, Simone proudly shared on Instagram, “WCC’s newest elite team member, my niece Ronni.” Even last year, Ronni attempted to pull herself up on her crib’s rings by watching her aunt’s performances.

With such early signs of talent and enthusiasm, could Baby Biles be the next Simone Biles, ready to follow in her aunt’s mighty footsteps?
