We are about to bid our final bye to 2023. After so much learning this year, everybody awaits to jump into the new year with full fervour. However, for Jordan Chiles, it was a taste of mixed pies. The talented gymnast got the honor of carrying the Team USA flag in the 2023 Pan American Games opening ceremony whilst undergoing bereavement.

Eyeing the 2024 Paris Olympics, Jordan Chiles views his demise as a beacon of hope. He was one of her best cheerleaders. But great or meager one can be, no one has ever escaped the fate of death. Overcoming this devastating horror, Chiles posted a positive update on her Instagram. What might seem like a dream of the little girl from Oregon is the promise for the world-class gymnast.

In her latest Instagram story, Chiles shared a conversation that encapsulates her relentless pursuit of her dreams. In that metaphorical conversation, when asked, “Why are you always busy?” her response was simple yet profound, “I have a dream to finish.” And the reply gives a glimpse into the mindset that has propelled her to the heights of success in her gymnastics career.

The late grandfather of the World Vault silver medalist was a pillar of support and a source of immense pride. His belief in Jordan’s talent and potential was unwavering. As her mother recently shared, he celebrated every achievement, every milestone that Jordan reached in her gymnastics journey. His pride in her accomplishments was evident, and his memory continues to inspire Chiles, who is briskly ambling towards the upcoming Olympics.

Jordan Chiles is on a determined sojourn towards the Paris 2024 Olympics. After a successful stint at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), she decided to focus solely on her Olympic preparation. She has deferred her UCLA studies for another year and plans to finish her schooling after the Olympics. Her training is set to take place in Texas at the World Champions Centre, the gym owned by Simone Biles’ family. She will be preparing for the Games with coaches Laurent and Cecile Landi.

Despite the rigorous training and the pressure of the upcoming Games, Chiles remains focused and committed. She has been training for nearly three years straight, participating in the Olympic season, a cross-country post-Games arena tour, the 2022 NCAA and elite seasons, and the 2023 NCAA season. Her dedication and commitment to her training are obvious, and she is all set to give her best at the Paris 2024 Olympics. With her unwavering spirit and relentless hard work. Her journey will come full circle as she intends to stoke her grandfather’s flame alive.
