American gymnast Joscelyn Roberson suffered from a left leg injury during warmups that forced her out of the Vault at the World Artistic Championships. She tried competing, but could not do as expected on the vault and the floor, having to be assisted by the coach since the injury was a bit intense. At first, she was playing it down, saying she had only ?popped? her ankle.
In fact, Roberson said that she expected nothing and indicated that there was a need to let her body heal itself. Her teammate, Leanne Wong, went in for her on the team final, while Roberson supported her standing on crutches and went together with the American?s winning gold medal. However, it is already 46 days after that injury. Recently, she even updated her fans with some cheerful news, which showed that she is still optimistic.
