Biles suffered from her infamous “twisties” and also had to deal with mental health issues.

However, Simone Biles, who is a well-known advocate for work-life balance, seems to be adhering to her mantra strictly. Taking time off from her hectic schedule, Biles shared a snap of a ladies’ fancy tote bag on her Instagram story. What was noticeable about the bag was the fact it was a Gucci Diana Mini Tote Bag worth $5448. 

The bag looked stunning in its ebony-colored textured design, further enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the snap. In front of the bag was a black colored Canon camera that complimented the color contrast of the bag perfectly. Looking back on Biles’ shopping history, this is not the first time that the 4x Olympic gold medalist has indulged in such a pleasure. 

Earlier in 2023, Biles flaunted a similar purchase, which was a Gucci Cotton Jersey Sweatshirt with Web. While Biles looked uber cool and stylish wearing it, the item cost Biles a whopping $1500. The 26-year-old also shared an update when she bought her luxurious new home along with her husband, Jonathan Owens. However, everytime Biles makes a hefty purchase, her fans get surprised. The reason? Her fear of going broke.

Unfortunately, that is not the case. Although, Biles does make sporadic purchases, as going broke is one of her primary fears.

In an interview, Biles disclosed, “I have a fear of going broke.” Further elaborating on the topic, Biles stated that she likes to measure her expenses and tries to avoid spending unnecessarily. The 26-year-old also said that she would only splurge if she “earns it”. Thus, when such a person shares a Gucci bag worth thousands, it surely means that she has, by all means, earned it.
